Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, Southwest Minnesota State University’s Women on the Move club met to discuss several things. One of issues on the agenda was what the organization planned to do for Women’s History Month, and perhaps pairing with the Women Studies minor to put on an event. Several ideas were thrown around including selling jewelry made by women.

Plans for a Women’s Tea were discussed for fall semester. Having done this in the past, WOM wants to make Women’s Tea an annual event. The last tea event was in 2011. Planned for October, the 2013 Women’s Tea will be paired with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On Feb. 27 WOM will be attending an event put on by ResLife on gender diversity. This event will take place in the upper level of CC and will start at 7:30 p.m. and go till 9:30 p.m.
