The 2024 Election is just about a week away, on Nov. 5. This election is a historic election with former President Trump having two assassination attempts on his life and Joe Biden dropping out, letting Kamala Harris join the race.
They both had their chance to lay their visions out during the presidential debate. Neither one got my vote then. I, as a moderate, still don’t know who to vote for.
Former President Trump didn’t answer the questions during the debate. Some of the weird things he said include “They’re eating the dogs and cats,” talking about the Haitian migrants. He took that from his running mate JD Vance who started that rumor. Which is not true based on multiple reports.
Another question that the former president answered was, “If he had a plan about healthcare?” He said, “I have concepts of a plan.” This was a non-answer from him.
Trump spent the whole night not answering the questions and saying other things that are not true about abortion. Such as, “Democrats want to kill babies after they are born,” “Democrats wanting to take away guns,” and saying, “he has nothing to do with Project 2025.”
Vice President Kamala Harris simply won the debate because she was able to answer the questions, and she won according to Politico by a wide margin. “Harris won the debate — and it wasn’t close,” POLITICO said.
She tried laying out her vision of America to help build up the middle class, by starting at the bottom and then building up. This will not work because right now the Senate is 50/50, so those ideas are not likely to get done, and past politicians have talked about building up the middle class to no result. Kamala’s plan is going to face hardships to get done as president.
Voters are having a tough time deciding on who to vote for VP Kamala Harris or Former President Donald Trump. A historical election! This 2024 election will shape history as a nation. Voters need more information to decide on who to vote for.
Make sure to go out and vote no matter if you’re Republican, Democrat, or Moderate. You can vote before Nov. 5 with early voting. This election could determine the next four years and could also affect life years from then. The bottom line is to get out and vote.
