Week 8 gave football fans arguably the best game of the season. The Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans combined for over 8oo yards passing and 79 point’s between the two teams. The lead changed three times in the closing minutes, with both quarterbacks making plays to give their team the lead. Wilson said after the game “give him rookie of the year right now”—referring to Desean Watson. The game was an instant classic.

The Vikings struggled early against the Browns, but were able to pull away while in London in the second half to keep the Browns winless. Jerrick McKinnon had 120 total yards and scored a touchdown to lead the charge for the Vikings offense.

Ezekiel Elliot had a monster game in what very well could have been his last for 6 games, as he season long battle with the NFL over a suspension now has Elliot suspended again. Elliot rushed for 150 yards and scored two touchdowns in Monsoon conditions. The Cowboys beat the Redskins 33-19.

Juju Smith-Schuster also had a monster game after finally finding his bike. His bike had been reported as stolen a couple of weeks ago. The Steelers did just enough as they squeaked out a 20-15 win over the Lions.

The Chiefs looked to get back on the winning track, after dropping two straight games. They faced off against the Denver Broncos on Monday night. Lead by a strong effort from the Kansas City defense, the Chiefs won 29-19, connecting on 5-5 field goals.
