Two good wins. On October 26th the men’s football team played Upper Iowa on an away game. Where they went 52-48. And in a home game versus Winona State they won it in over time, 51-44. These two wins were crucial for our team, if they want any chance at playoffs. Going into the next two weeks with two wins behind them will be a big morale booster where we realistically can’t get into the playoffs without winning both.
In the game vs. Upper Iowa our offense was on fire. Charlie Kern threw for four touchdowns and 248 yards and even ran it in once. While Tyler Tonderum ran for an amazing 288 yards and two touchdowns. And Anthony Dean had 89 yards with two touchdowns, while Cody Condon and Britt Wickett both had one each. Our defense was on top of things as well. With AJ Page dominating with a total of eleven tackles and one sack.Andrew McReyonlds, Tate Bunkers, and Donovan Woods getting: six, five and five tackles respectfully.
