Responses to @realDonaldTrump
President Trump’s tweet: “It is amazing how rude much of the media is to my very hard working representatives. Be nice, you will do much better!” 7:52 a.m., March 13.
We will do much better how? Most of the media is being ridiculed and barred from meetings by President Trump himself. Maybe this is his signature not-subtle-but-subtle way of saying ‘make me look good and you will be rewarded.’
President Trump’s tweet: “Don’t let the FAKE NEWS tell you that there is big infighting in the Trump Admin. We are getting along great, and getting major things done!” 8:14 a.m., March 7.
Video, pictures, and sources straight from the White House claim differently. Multiple stories have been written in the last couple months about the tension found within the White House, and only President Trump and his top aides have argued otherwise. Are The Hill, CNN and others really “fake news?” Maybe they just have alternative facts.
These are only two examples of President Trump’s explosive and defensive personality. On the surface, hypocrisy is obviously present (as always) in the top levels of government. Underneath, there’s a pathological need to lie, to maintain appearances, and to have as much control as possible. President Trump has found a lot of success in his life, but during no other point in time has he been under as much scrutiny as being President of the United States of America.
Something not mentioned very often is the basic fact that President Trump is 71 years of age; the oldest President in history. Any other man of his age with his temperament, not in his position, would be dismissed as codgy, stodgy and dodgy.
