Where’s the line of going too far when mixing both peace and passion?
For those left in wonder, Southwest Minnesota State University will present Bob Hall, owner and founder of “Learning to Live with Conflict, Inc.”, in his educational lecture “Nonviolent Sexuality: Making Peace with Passion.”
Sponsored by the New Horizons Crisis Center, the SMSU Student Activities Committee, Lyon County SMART and the SMSU Women’s Study Committee, Hall will be on hand Tuesday, April 15 at 7 p.m. in the lower level Conference Center to discuss topics such as sex, alcohol, intimacy and conflict.
With a large number of sex-related issues in the world – such as sex violence, scandals, sex education, sexual rights, STI’s and more – there is plenty to talk about.
Students and many others will have the opportunity to learn and discuss these issues and will also get new insight into what it means in the world today.
This event is being held throughout April along with several others for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Other events will include the “Hands Against Sexual Violence” poster creation (April 14 – 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) and Denim Day (April 23 – 10 a.m.-2 p.m.).
