What’s better than sitting back, watching the Mustangs fight for glory, donning that brown and gold and cheering on our teams? Adding the Ag Bowl into that mix, of course!
Southwest Minnesota State University hosted the 7th Annual Ag Bowl this past weekend with a number of activities and games along the way.
Held on Saturday, Sept. 7, the Ag Bowl was an opportunity for the students, faculty and staff of SMSU, as well as community members, to join in the fun.
Some of the annual activities, all ag-related, include: inflatable machines, pedal pull, bull riding, face-painting, balloon creations, pony rides, hay rides, a petting zoo, a tractor display and much more.
Cash prizes and other awards were given to winners of the traditional Ag Bowl Raffle.
Kayla Daniels graced the stage with some live music before the start of the game.
The Ag Bowl heightened the Mustang spirit, with kick-off set to start at 6 p.m. against the St. Cloud State Huskies.
The celebration was sponsored by Ralco Nutrition Inc.
Other sponsors included Hy-Vee, Midwest Ag, Titan Machinery, Hormel, Syngenta, Action Sports, ADM and CHS.
