The 2025 Student Association election is in full swing from April 14 to 18. PR Coordinator candidates are Paige Klaphake a second-year student majoring in broadcasting and digital media from Belgrade, MN; Krish Patel from Kolhapur, India majoring in computer science in his third year as a student; and Charles Frazier, Jr. a senior from Minneapolis, MN majoring in human resources management with a minor in public administration.
Klaphake’s qualifications are her experiences she gains from her major, she says, “My major, broadcasting and digital media, and minors, marketing and digital media design, help me connect with people outside of my normal circle.”
Klaphake’s goal is to reach more students than the student senate did in previous years. Her plan for this is to post constantly and update campus wherever she can.
Klaphake finished by saying, “students should vote for me because of my background in public relations and my connections to lots of people.”
Patel’s goal is to help students be aware of decisions that senate is making. He said, “I think not many people know the decisions the student government takes, so I would work on [informing students] more.”
His work with clubs is Patel’s qualifications in his campaign bio he says, “I have interest in advertising or marketing for a various clubs and organizations around the campus.”
Charles interest stems from his qualifications. He says, “I have interest in government and public administration as I have a BS in human resources management with a minor in public administration.
