It’s that time of year again. The NFL’s best teams compete for the game’s greatest prize on February 4.

The AFC Champion, for the third time in four years, is the New England Patriots. In the AFC Championship game, the Patriots were trailing the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-10 with about 10 minutes left in the game. Tom Brady led one of his famous come-from-behind victories and the Patriots emerged victorious 24-20.

The Eagles have won the honor of representing the NFC in the Super Bowl. Philadelphia has been the underdog all post season, despite earning the number one seed in the NFC. The players, along with the fans, took that to heart on Sunday as they proved that even without their starting quarterback, Carson Wentz, they are still a great team; they beat the Vikings handily, 38-7.

The Eagles had better bring their best if they want to have any chance of beating Tom Brady and that Patriots’ offense.

Many experts say that the best way to beat the Patriots with Tom Brady at the helm is to get pressure on him. The Eagles were able to do that last week against Case Keenum and the Vikings, and will most likely have to do so again to win the Super Bowl.

The Patriots, on the other hand have not looked as dominate as they have been in years past. They have one of the worst scoring defenses in the NFL, and that could hurt them in the Super Bowl.

The X-factor is Tom Brady. Brady covers up so many flaws, and could lead this team to yet another Super Bowl victory.

On the other side of the ball for the Eagles is Nick Foles. The backup quarterback has shown greatness as he did last week against the Vikings, as well as downright terrible quarterbacking as he did at the end of the regular season.

To beat a Tom Brady led Patriots team, Foles is going to have to put out a performance like the one he had last week against the Vikings.

The key to the game will be the first couple of drives. If Foles can get into a rhythm and get comfortable and give his defense a lead, the Eagles have a chance.

But, even if that happens, Tom Brady is the king of comebacks and should never be counted out.
