Many Trump supporters have started a new hashtag along the social media sites. Just to clarify, no, this was not Trump’s idea. The twisted thought arose in the brains of his supporters.

If you haven’t already heard about this, #repealthe 19th is the idea that the 19th amendment should be repealed (taken back). The 19th amendment gives women the right to vote.

They want to make it illegal for women to vote. Again.

In 1919, women were finally able to vote. This law hasn’t even been legal for 100 years! There are women alive today who could possibly remember the rallies and demonstrations that were held in order for women to be able to vote.

Susan B. Anthony is probably turning over in her grave right now because of this. She was beaten and arrested for trying to vote in 1872, and now there are people trying to take back everything she worked so hard for.

The thing that is really jaw-dropping about this is that some of the people who are using this hashtag ARE WOMEN.

Why is this an idea? Well, because these supporters believe that women are mainly the only people who are voting for Hillary Clinton. If they weren’t able to vote, then Hillary would have very few, if any, guys voting for her. All of the votes would go to Trump.

That sounds pretty sexist to me. It seems like these supporters are saying that guys only vote for guys, and girls only vote for girls.

This sickens me so much.

I just don’t understand what happened to people, in order to come up with this idea. We ended up with two terrible presidential candidates, Harambe was killed, killer clowns became a thing, and now people think women shouldn’t vote.

Come on, America. Get it together.
