SMSU men’s baseball team is looking pretty good after a 4-0 series over Minnesota Crookston. They won the first two games with a narrow margin. First with a 8-5 victory and then an even narrower victory of 7-6. Then just this last weekend they played two more games where they went 3-0 and then 10-2.

There are only three double headers left this season and we will have to play two of them on the same day. This Wednesday’s games were pushed back to Thursday. So we will play double headers against both Bemidji and Northern State. The Mustangs are looking to win them all because a loss now could result in in missing the big NSIC tournament. So pay close attention to these games as the Mustangs look to bring some extra heat to end this season.
