The Southwest Minnesota State University tennis team fell 9-0 to Augustana College on Sunday, Feb. 17 at the Sioux Empire Fitness Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

In 1 doubles, Shelby Monahan and Crystal Overbaugh fell to Jessa Richards and Hannah Gebauer 3-8. In 2 doubles, Katie Kienitz and Samantha Ritter fell to Kati Jesperson and Michelle Wadas 2-8. In 3 doubles, Kayla Uphus and Allison Niedert lost to Gabbie Kachena and Liz Lewis 2-8. In 1 singles, Kienitz lost to Richards 0-6, 1-6. In 2 singles, Monahan lost to Wadas 2-6, 0-6. In 3 singles, Overbaugh fell to Heather Sullivan 0-6, 2-6. In 4 singles, Niedert fell to Jenna Helleberg 1-6, 1-6. In 5 singles, Hannah Hagen lost to Lewis 0-6, 1-6. In 6 singles, Ritter lost to Jess Spalding 2-6, 2-6.

With the loss, the Mustangs fall to an overall record of 0-3 and 0-2 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. The Vikings improve to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the NSIC.
